In the winter of 2005, while at a Missions Possible retreat in Rothenburg Germany, the Jellison’s surrendered to Missions. After retiring from the US Air Force in April 2012, the Lord moved them to work at a children’s home in Tampa Florida. It was at this children's home, during the early part of 2013, that they accepted the call and surrendered to Missions focusing on the US military. This is also when Stuart began his studies to earn his Bible degree (Graduate of Theology) through Freedom Baptist Bible Institute which he completed in January 2015.
The Jellison’s served on staff at Maranatha Baptist Church in Okinawa, Japan from June 2013 through May 2015. They then started deputation and were accepted as missionaries with BIMI in June 2015. In August 2017, the Jellison’s returned to Okinawa and founded North Shore Baptist Church (NSBC). They Pastored NSBC until God led them to accept the call to pastor Yokosuka Baptist Church (YBC) in December 2020. The Jellison’s transitioned to mainland Japan and began pastoring YBC on 13 January 2021.
