As a twelve-year-old boy, I was invited to attend the Bloomingdale- Salem Baptist Church in Barboursville, WV. I rode the church bus, heard the gospel for the first time in my life, walked down the aisle and trusted Christ as my Saviour. He completely changed my life when He saved my soul that day. After high school graduation, I joined the Air Force.
While stationed in England, I attended the Faith Baptist Church, where God called me to preach during a Missions Conference in 1984. I got out of the Air Force and began to prepare for the ministry. I enrolled in Calvary Baptist Bible College in King, North Carolina in the spring semester of 1989. I graduated in 1992 with a Pastoral Theology Degree. I was sent out of Calvary Baptist Church in King, North Carolina as an independent Baptist missionary/pastor.
During my college years, I met and married my wife, Tonda. She graduated from Hyles-Anderson College with an Elementary Education Degree. Tonda has been actively involved in the ministry. She enjoys working with children, teaching Ladies' Bible studies, working in the music department, and assisting wherever there is a need.
God has blessed us with five children, Joel, Jared, Jadon, Jonathan, and Caylee. Joel is married to Jodi, and he is currently serving at Mays Landing Baptist Church in Mays Landing, New Jersey; Jared is married to Kylynn and is serving at Vision Baptist Church in Los Angeles, CA. Jadon, Jonathan and Caylee are attending West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California.
It has always been our family's desire to serve the Lord in any way that He can use us.
